"For God has not given us a spirit of fearfulness, but one of power, love, and sound judgment." 2 Timothy 1:6-7
By now you are well aware of the precautions being put in place to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus and to protect those who are most vulnerable. Although we do not want to respond in fear, we do want to respond in a compassionate and wise way (1 Timothy 1:7) and we want to respect the suggestions and measures being taken and suggested.
One of those is to not have gatherings bigger than 250 people. Therefore for the next few weeks we are cancelling the physical services on Sunday Mornings. We are however still running a livestream of the service (without people present) at 9am and then a copy of that service at 11am. You can watch the service at our YouTube channel here. If you would like to give online you can send an etransfer to Emmanuel Baptist Church at Office@emmanuellife.com. You can also bring in your offering to the church office throughout the week from 9am-3pm.
We will also be cancelling our programs and events being held at Emmanuel (except Celebrate Recovery) for the next few weeks. We will keep updating the status of programs and meetings via email (Please check regularly), Facebook and Instagram, and our Webpage. If you have any questions or needs, you can contact us via email here. We are also working on a plan to contact every regular attender to update information and make sure that needs are being met. This is an opportunity for the love of Jesus to be shown in very real ways.
